Introduction of Xingjing Black Sand

Xingjing black sand is a traditional Han craft with a long history. Gucheng Village (on Guchengping Gucheng) in Lihe Township, Xingjing County, Ya'an City, Sichuan Province, is the main production area of Xingjing black sand, and is the location of the provincial cultural relics protection unit "Yandao Ancient City Ruins". In a sense, this is the birthplace of Xingjing and Yandao, and only sandwares produced here are qualified to be called "Xingjing sandwares"; before 1981 it was called "Xingjing casserole", mainly due to the limitations of the product, and at that time "Xingjing casserole" had become the name of the village. The name "Xingjing casserole" became synonymous with Xingjing, and people from outside the city began to recognize Xingjing by its name. 1981 saw the diversification of the product range and the development of craftsmanship, which led to a unified name for Xingjing sandwares and Xingjing black sand. The revival began in 2013. Inheritance of ancient tradition and culture. In addition to casseroles, Xingying sandwares include tea mats, flower vessels, wind stoves, and other black sandwares that integrate culture, art, nature, and life, and are now on their way to the international stage.
