The Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor is the mausoleum of the first emperor in China history (259 BC-265,438 BC+00 BC), the first batch of world cultural heritage, the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units and the first batch of national AAAA-level tourist attractions Ying Zheng. It is located at the northern foot of Mount Li, 5 kilometers east of Lintong District, Xi City, Shaanxi Province.
The mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor was built in the first year of Qin Dynasty (247 BC) to the second year of Qin Ershi (208 BC), which lasted for 39 years. It is the first large-scale and beautifully designed imperial mausoleum in the history of China. There are two rammed earth walls inside and outside, symbolizing the imperial cities Xianyang and Miyagi.
The mausoleum is located in the south of the inner city, in the shape of a bucket, with a height of 5 1 m and a base circumference of 1.700 m. According to historical records, there are various palaces in the Qinling Mountains, displaying many rare treasures. There are a large number of burial pits and tombs with different shapes and connotations around the Qin Mausoleum, and more than 400 have been proved, including the world-famous "eighth wonder of the world" Terracotta Warriors and Horses Pit.
2. Big Wild Goose Pagoda
The Big Wild Goose Pagoda is located in Jinchangfang (now southwest of Xi 'an, Shaanxi Province) in Chang 'an in the Tang Dynasty, also known as "Ci 'en Temple Pagoda". In the third year of Tang Yonghui (652), Xuanzang presided over the construction of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda to preserve the scroll Buddha statues brought back to Chang 'an by Tianzhu via the Silk Road. The first five floors were built with nine floors, and then the floors and heights were changed several times. Finally, it was fixed as the seven-story pagoda seen today, with a total height of 64.5 17 meters and a base length of 25.5 meters.
The Wild Goose Pagoda, as the earliest and largest quadrangle-style brick pagoda in the Tang Dynasty, is a typical material evidence of the introduction of ancient Indian Buddhist temples into the Central Plains with Buddhism and its integration into China culture, and it is a landmark building that embodies the wisdom of working people in ancient China.
3. Daming Palace
Daming Palace is the main hall, political center and national symbol of the Tang Dynasty. It is located in Longshouyuan, north of Chang 'an (now Xi 'an) in Tang Dou. It was built in the eighth year of Emperor Taizong's Zhenguan (634), formerly known as Yong 'an Palace. It is the largest of the three main halls of Chang 'an in Tang Dynasty (Daming Palace, Taiji Palace and Xingqing Palace), and is called "Dongnei". For more than 200 years since Tang Gaozong, there have been 17 emperors of the Tang Dynasty handling state affairs here.
4. Banpo site
Banpo site is a Neolithic Yangshao cultural settlement site, 6000-6700 years ago, located on the east bank of Chanhe River in Xi City, Shaanxi Province, with an area of about 50,000 square meters.
Banpo site was discovered in 1953. During the period of 1954- 1957, led by the archaeologist Mr. Shi Xingbang, Banpo site was excavated five times on a large scale, with a total excavation area of 1 000 square meters. There are 45 housing sites, 2 fences, more than 200 caves, 6 pottery pits, more than 250 graves and about 65,438 production tools and daily necessities.
From 2002 to 2005, with the renovation project of Banpo Site Protection Museum, important relics such as sacrificial ceremony and inkstone were discovered, which is of great value for studying the settlement form, cultural connotation and social nature of Banpo Site.
5. Datang Furong Garden
Datang Furong Garden is located in Qujiang Development Zone, south of Xi City, Shaanxi Province, southeast of Big Wild Goose Pagoda. It was rebuilt in the north of the original site of Furong Garden in Tang Dynasty, imitating the style of royal gardens in Tang Dynasty. It is the first large-scale royal garden-style cultural theme park in China that fully displays the style of the prosperous Tang Dynasty, covering an area of 1000 mu, including 300 mu of water.
There are many antique buildings in the park, such as Ziyun Building, Palace of Maids, Forbidden City, Xingyuan Garden, Fanglinyuan, Jiutian Theater and Tang Cheng. It is the largest imitation of the Tang Dynasty royal complex in China, and Zhang Jinqiu, an academician of China Academy of Engineering, is responsible for the overall planning and architectural design.
