Traditional Wushu meets Sanda
Sanda is developed on the basis of traditional Wushu. All kinds of offensive and defensive techniques used in Sanda come from traditional Wushu. Sanda originated from Sanshou and developed from the earliest struggle between man and beast. A sports competition in which two people fight unarmed through simple techniques such as kicking, throwing and hitting. To evolve into the present Sanda, the moves used must be the methods of hitting, throwing and defending in Wushu. It's just that Sanda uses the situation and rules of modern boxing, and there is no fixed style. It's basically just following the trend.
Even if you fall, it's not a karate wrestler's fall, nor a Muay Thai fall, but a Chinese fall. Equivalent to Sanda is another updated version of traditional martial arts, and its shell is more inclined to western fighting skills.
From the training point of view, Sanda started with traditional training methods. The initial training of Sanda begins with children, not with learning various boxing methods. Instead, we collected all kinds of boxing in China and began to cultivate them with traditional folk martial arts training methods. Just joined a lot of scientific training, also joined a lot of new training techniques. In Sanshou competition, you can't use traditional martial arts such as grasping and throat locking, but you can only use boxing, palm and copy to win. The key point is to destroy the other side's center of gravity and let the other side fall.
Sanda is an excellent traditional martial art in China, which evolved gradually under specific historical conditions. Its surname is different from Taekwondo and free fighting, and it has strong national characteristics. There are many requirements in the rules, don't be hard on each other, but also pay attention to attack and defense. Through Sanda training, people can establish correct conditioned reflex, defend properly and have strong offensive adaptability.
So Sanda and traditional Wushu are inseparable. The thinking of Sanda also follows the thinking of traditional Wushu learning, emphasizing four or two skills.
