Traditional towel weaving teaching

The weaving process of towels is as follows:

Broken gear: In addition to terry, there is a cloth gear in the middle of the towel. Its technology can be ever-changing and many styles can be woven.

Printing: printing is generally poured on the cut towel, and the pattern dyed with reactive dyes is called printing;

Jacquard: used on towel cloth or untwisted yarn towel, with concave-convex or different colors of yarn to highlight the pattern.

Yarn-dyed fabric: it is made by interweaving warp and weft of different colors. Because it is dyed first and then woven, the dye has strong permeability and good color fastness. Generally, it is dyed with two-ply yarn, so the fabric has a good sense of weight and texture, and the front and back colors are just the opposite, so it has a strong three-dimensional effect, a small shrinkage rate and is not easy to fade!

Embroidery: After the towel is made, a pattern is embroidered by computer, which is very decorative.

Plain towel: made of various raw materials and dyed with high-tech technology, there are white, blue, cyan, orange and other colors of towels. Plain towels are soft and comfortable and will not fade.

Twist-free: The production process of twist-free yarn towel is the same as that of ordinary cotton yarn weaving, but the cotton yarn is different. The center of untwisted yarn is to glue cotton into linear yarn without twist. After washing and dyeing at high temperature, the gum is dissolved in water to form a untwisted cotton towel.

Cut velvet: Cut velvet towel is to cut off the terry of ordinary towel, so that the fabric surface is covered with smooth fluff. Cut velvet towels can be cut on both sides, on one side or partially to form patterned terry, which are printed and lined with each other. Cut velvet towel is characterized by softness, comfortable use, better hygroscopicity and softness than ordinary towel.
