The determination of the qualification standards set forth in the preceding paragraph shall also comply with the following requirements: (a) two-axle group by two axles, three-axle group by three axles; (b) in addition to the drive axle, two-axle group, three-axle group, semi-trailers, full trailer axles on both sides of the tire are calculated according to the double tire. If the tires on both sides of each axle are single tires, the limit standard will be reduced by 3,000kg, except for wider tires that comply with the relevant national standards; (3) the maximum permissible gross mass of the vehicle shall not exceed the sum of the maximum permissible axle weights of each axle; (4) for tractors, agricultural vehicles, and low-speed trucks, the gross mass approved by the driver's license shall be the limiting criterion; (5) for refrigerated trucks, automobile trains, vehicles fitted with air-air suspension and special operation vehicles that meet the requirements of "External Dimensions, Axle Weight and Quality Limits of Automobiles, Trailers and Automobile Trains" (GB1589) are not regarded as over-limit transportation vehicles.
