The Origin of Buddhism in Myanmar
1 1 century ago, there was a Mahayana Sect in Myanmar. Monks of this sect wear blue robes and grow their hair. They think that if they commit evil, they only need to recite the salvation mantra, and they will not suffer karma. It can be said that this school is more extreme than Indian sexologists. Before they became the king of Anulutuo, Anulutuo unified the whole country in A.D. 1044, with Bagan as its capital. 1057, they conquered the Bagan dynasty and returned monks, Sanzang scriptures, relics and treasures. And was led by the arhat (arhat) monk. Soon, Bagan built the Reed Palace Pagoda, which took two generations to complete. King Sheyebohar I of Ceylon once sent envoys to Myanmar and asked Sanzang to send monks. Myanmar once became the center of Southern Buddhism.
