What are the policies and advantages of NLD members?

Membership requirements: all intellectuals engaged in culture, education, science and technology. Anyone who voluntarily abides by the constitution of China Democratic League can register.

NLD does not develop members among workers, farmers and students at school, nor among compatriots from Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao, overseas Chinese and religious figures, and generally does not develop members in counties (county-level cities) without league organizations. Join the program:

Intellectuals engaged in culture, education, science and technology voluntarily abide by the articles of association of the China Democratic League and may apply to join the China Democratic League.

After investigation and discussion by grass-roots organizations and signing specific opinions on the application form for membership, the grass-roots organizations shall affix their official seals and report to the local municipal or above (including prefecture-level committees) for examination and approval according to procedures. If the Municipal Party Committee agrees to apply, it shall affix the official seal of the organization on the application form and indicate the date of approval.
