1, Bank of China Head Office Building
Bank of China Head Office Building is located about 2 kilometers from the Forbidden City, Xidan commercial downtown Chang'an Street, the building's main height of 45 meters, the south and east of the two entrances are 54 meters wide, 9 meters high, 14 meters deep, in only 45 meters of height, the building's volume appears to be very large. The Bank of China Head Office Building was once described by I.M. Pei as a "masterpiece"
2, Suzhou Museum New Hall
The design of the Museum's new hall combines the traditional Suzhou architectural style, placing the museum in between courtyards and harmonizing the building with its surroundings. The main courtyard of the museum is tantamount to an extension and modern interpretation of the architectural style of the Humble Administrator's Garden to the north.
3. Macao Science Center
The Macao Science Center covers an area of 62,000 square meters, and its main body consists of a tilted cone, a hemisphere, and a rhombus-shaped plinth, which functions as an exhibition hall, planetarium, and conference center, respectively. The building's facade is finished in silver-gray metallic aluminum panels, complemented by dark granite. When viewed from a distance, the building has a strong scientific flavor, reflecting Pei's fondness for geometric patterns.

The American architectural community declared 1979 "I.M. Pei Year". The American architectural community declared 1979 "I.M. Pei's Year" and awarded him the Gold Medal of the American Institute of Architects for that year. The design of the East Wing of the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., which had been completed the year before, had already established I.M. Pei as a world-class architect.
I.M. Pei was awarded the Gold Medal of the American Institute of Architects in 1979, the Gold Medal of the French Academy of Architecture in 1981, the Teikoku Prize of Japan in 1989, the Fifth Pritzker Prize in 1983 and the Medal of Freedom awarded by President Reagan in 1986, and has been described as the "last master of modern architecture".
