How many kinds of ocean anchors are there?

There are many kinds of anchors, which can be roughly divided into four kinds, including rod anchor, rodless anchor, claw anchor and special anchor, and more than ten kinds.

1, with rod anchor

An anchor with a crossbar is a rod anchor. This kind of anchor is characterized by a claw biting into the soil. When towing the anchor on the seabed, the cross bar can prevent the claw from tipping over and play a stabilizing role. Among the rod anchors, there are navy anchor, Lamman anchor, single claw anchor and Japanese anchor.

2. Rod-free anchor

A double-claw anchor without crossbar and rotating claw is a rodless anchor. This kind of anchor rod is characterized by good stability, strong adaptability to various soils and convenient storage. Rod-less anchors have developed rapidly, from the first generation to the third generation. Commonly used rodless anchors mainly include Hall anchor, Spek anchor, AC- 14 anchor and DA- 1 anchor.
