Build a modern transportation network that runs through the whole city, the whole province, the whole country and the whole world with high standards, promote the linkage empowerment of digital ports with airports, seaports and railway ports, basically build an important global transportation hub and an international logistics center, form a safe, convenient, efficient, green and high-quality modern comprehensive transportation system, and realize "people walk easily and things flow smoothly". By 2035, Guangzhou will become a comprehensive transportation hub with global influence, and fully realize "people enjoy things well".

In order to achieve the goal, the plan is laid out from the aspects of aviation, shipping, railway, intercity rail and highway. In aviation, Baiyun International Airport will introduce high-speed railway, intercity railway and urban rail to form an efficient and convenient multi-level air-rail combined transport system. Push the airport to the central city for 30 minutes, 1 hour to the Pearl River Delta city, and 3 hours to the Pan-Pearl River Delta city. On the railway side, we will promote the formation of 10 provincial channel, and realize 1 hour direct access to Greater Bay Area, two-hour inter-provincial communication, three-hour communication with the Pan-Pearl River Delta, five-hour communication with the Yangtze River Delta and Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle.
