? A: Jianchuan, Yunnan is an area where the Bai people have lived for generations. The woodcarving in Yunnan Hall of the Great Hall of the People was made by Jianchuan artists. The traditional patterns of Jianchuan woodcarving include camellia, plum blossom, magpie, lion, peacock, dragon and phoenix, etc. Especially the dragon wind, flowers and birds are the best, with full composition and rich layers, full of auspicious and festive meanings. It shows simple folk customs.
