When does the Confucius Festival usually take place?

There are mainly four major dingdings, the first dingdings after entering the spring, summer, fall and winter seasons, and four "zhongdings", the tenth day after the big dingdings. In addition, there are eight small sacrifices, namely, Qingming, Danyang, Mid-Autumn Festival, New Year's Eve, the first day of June, the first day of October, birthdays, jubilees. There are also twenty-four sacrifices for the twenty-four seasons of the year.

Not only are there sacrifices on traditional festivals, but also on the first and fifteenth days of each month, there are sacrifices in the Confucius House. The main offerings for the Kongfu festival are pigs, goats and cows, all of which are whole. There are also salt, cat's blood, gravy rice, rhododendron, etc. The rituals are extremely complicated.
