What is engineering?

Engineering refers to the research and application of materials science, computer, information, electronics, machinery, electricity, architecture, water conservancy, automobiles, instruments and other technologies and processes. Engineering or engineering is "applying the principles of science and technology to solve problems".

Engineers apply science, technology, mathematics and practical experience to the design, manufacture, operation of objects or programs through imagination, judgment and reasoning. In school, many engineering disciplines formed by applying the principles of natural science to various production departments of industry and agriculture are also called engineering or engineering.
