What are the characteristics of bird patterns in ancient painted pottery animal patterns?
Bird pattern is also a common decorative pattern, which is widely used in Yangshao temple ditch. It has different shapes, some like pecking, some standing and looking around, and some spreading their wings and flying. The colorful painting "The Stork and the Stone Axe" in this period was found in Yancun Village, Linru, Henan Province, with a frame of 37*44 cm and painted on the outer wall of a 47 cm high clay pot. On the left is a long-billed stork with a fish in its mouth, and on the right is a stone axe with a handle. The picture is ingenious and concise, and it is the largest painting on prehistoric pottery found in China at present.
