Introduction of Tongrentang Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture

Beijing Tongrentang is a time-honored brand of Han Chinese medicine in China. Founded in 1669, it has a history of 337 years. Tongrentang began to accept official medicine from 1723 until 19 1 1. During the long years of 188, Tongrentang followed the royal drug selection standards, strictly followed the secret recipe of the imperial palace and pharmaceutical methods, and formed a strict quality supervision system. The organic integration and mutual influence among Tongrentang, Forbidden City Hospital and Royal Pharmacy formed the characteristic Chinese medicine of Tongrentang. In 2006, Tongrentang traditional Chinese medicine culture was listed in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list by the State Council.
